    Mental Performance Coaching focuses on helping individuals manage their emotions so they feel calm and prepared. Coaching involves setting clear goals and identifying obstacles and problematic behaviors to develop a resilient mindset to overcome challenges. Individuals train their minds to show up exactly as they want to. Coaching is not a healthcare service and is usually not covered by health insurance.

  • Walk and Talk

    In-person outdoor coaching can be an effective and unique option. Many individuals enjoy having their sessions outside of the virtual or office setting since they work in an office or are in school all day. Some find that they feel more relaxed outside and choose to walk and talk, while others enjoy engaging in sessions while sitting outdoors. These sessions mirror traditional office settings.

  • Therapeutic Services

    Psychotherapy, also called counseling, is a process in which a client works with a licensed healthcare professional to diagnose and resolve problematic beliefs, feelings, and behavioral responses. The idea behind therapy is to focus on past events to change self-destructive habits, repair and improve relationships, and work through painful feelings. I am on staff at Comprehensive Mental Health in Pennington, NJ.

MENTAL PERFORMANCE COACHING

Mental skills training is a process that helps train your brain to perform better under high-pressure situations. It takes multiple sessions to develop a healthy mental game. Athletes often neglect mental preparation, resulting in hesitation, nerves, and difficulty handling challenging situations. I focus on imparting practical strategies to build mental strength, rather than relying solely on positive thinking.

Mental Performance coaching allows individuals to:

  • Manage game-day anxiety to feel calm and ready to play. 

  • Create a resilient growth mindset that works to overcome challenges instead of feeling defeated when challenges arise.
